This year, we are celebrating the Sacerdotal Golden Jubilee Anniversary of Rev. Fr. A. Amalanathan, with a Eucharistic Celebration presided by Rev. Julian Leow Beng Kim, the Archbishop of Kuala Lumpur. The theme is “Remain In My Love” John 15:9.

This monumental celebration will take place where it all began – at the Church of Our Lady of Lourdes, Klang on Tuesday 11th of December 2018 at 10.30AM. There will also be a lunch fellowship thereafter at Level 3 Auditorium in Wisma Lourdes.

 Parishioners of St.Anne, we are very proud to join in celebrating the Sacerdotal Golden Jubilee Anniversary of Fr Amala at OLL Klang.

These days, although Fr Amala is not as mobile as he used to be (he suffered a mild stroke), he still continues to serve the people of God as and when he is called upon. Fr Amala is always a notable figure (among other priests) that is present at the many ordinations celebrated at OLL KLang. He is most certainly an inspiration to those who have received the calling to priesthood as well as the rest of the parish.

We pray that the Good Lord bless him and Mother Mary take care of him in his vocation as he continues to serve the people of God.
